1. What if I have my own website
now?
That's great. Your regular website is great for general
information and to keep your students informed about up
coming events. But you need to have a marketing website
which is designed for one thing and one thing only...
and that is to sell!
2. If I now have a registered domain
name that I am using for my regular website and want to
keep that name, how can I utilize a marketing website?
You have a couple of choices. One, would be to link your
regular website to the marketing website and direct visitors
seeking information to the marketing website.
Another choice would be to replace your existing home
page with one which directs visitors to one of three places.
Only three links or buttons. One to Children's Program
Information, one for Adult Program Information and a third
for Current Members. Take a look at my website to get
an idea of what I am talking about - click
here!
A third choice would be to replace your current website
with the marketing website. We could use your existing
Domain Name and move it to our server. Then we would install
the marketing website.
3. Is a good idea to keep my Marketing
Website separate from my regular school website?
That depends. Some feel that a simpler, easy to remember
name is better for your direct marketing efforts. In this
case you would register a new domain name and use it just
for the marketing website. You could link both sites together.
4. Must I host the marketing website
on your server?
Yes. Our server is Interland. They are one of the most
reliable web servers in the world. We have easy access
and can always quickly make changes to your website when
necessary. We have full FTP (File Transfer Protocol) service
with Interland.
